Q: What is Activision Blizzard?
A: Under the terms of an agreement with Vivendi, Blizzard Entertainment and the other companies that made up Vivendi Games combined with Activision to form a new public company called Activision Blizzard. This union creates a stronger and more diversified company that benefits and strengthens both brands.

Q: How does this affect the Blizzard Entertainment brand name?
A: The Blizzard brand name remains the same as it was prior to the combination: Blizzard Entertainment.

Q: Does this change the day-to-day operations at Blizzard Entertainment?
A: There will be no changes in the way Blizzard Entertainment operates. All of the people, processes, and philosophies that have made Blizzard successful will continue to be preserved. One of the highlights of the combination is that Blizzard Entertainment now benefits from all-star sales and distribution teams to service our products. In addition, the combined company is stronger financially, managerially, and operationally.

Q: How does this impact Blizzard Entertainment's games?
A: This will not impact Blizzard Entertainment's games. We remain committed to providing the same high-quality game content and support that we always have. Development on World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, StarCraft II, Diablo III, and any unannounced games is continuing as it had prior to the creation of Activision Blizzard.

Q: Will there be any visible differences in Blizzard Entertainment's logo, packaging, or marketing materials?
A: No, there won't be any changes to our company name, logo, packaging, marketing materials, or anything else along those lines.

Q: Will there be any management changes at Blizzard Entertainment as a result of the creation of Activision Blizzard?
A: No, there won't be any management changes at Blizzard Entertainment as a result of the combination.

Q: Do Activision and Blizzard Entertainment share development teams?
A: No. Game development at Blizzard Entertainment will continue to operate as it has previously.

Q: Does this impact Blizzard Entertainment's game-release schedule?
A: No. This does not impact our games, our day-to-day operations, or our release timelines.

Q: Will any of Blizzard Entertainment's offices close? Or, will any new offices open?
A: No, all of our offices will continue to function as they did prior to the combination. We don't foresee the need to open any new offices for the time being.

Q: Will any employees move to different offices as a result of the combination?
A: No employees have had to make any such move.

Q: Are Activision's and Blizzard Entertainment's international offices included in this combination?
A: Yes, this combination includes every part of each company involved in both the U.S. and abroad.

Q: Am I able to buy stock in Activision Blizzard?
A: Yes, Activision Blizzard will operate as a public company traded on NASDAQ under the ticker ATVID.

Q: When was Activision Blizzard officially formed?
A: The intention to form Activision Blizzard was first announced on December 2, 2007, and the transaction officially closed on July 9, 2008.
