Associate Web Software Engineer
Blizzard Entertainment seeks a Web programmer experienced in developing Web-based applications for our internal and external websites.
The programmer would be responsible for creating new and improving existing applications in a high-load, high-availability environment.
The ideal candidate would be experienced in Java, web-related technologies, and relational database design.
Requirements
- 1-3 years web programming experience, including experience with Java, servlets, and JSPs.
- Knowledge of web related technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML).
- Passion for games.
Plusses:
- Experience in relational database design and SQL.
- Experience with common Java Web programming frameworks (e.g. Struts, Spring).
- Experience integrating open source components into custom projects.
- Experience with developing localized Web sites/applications.
- Experience developing high performance applications in clustered environments.
- Experience with credit card processing/transactional systems.
