Technician
Information technology technicians serve as the first line of support for our employees for all IT-related tasks. They are responsible for handling all employee requests, escalating them when appropriate, and coordinating all communication between the higher-level IT staff and the employees. Their day-to-day tasks include building, configuring, deploying, monitoring, modifying, and repairing both local and remote computers.
Qualities we look for: We are looking for candidates who are extremely customer-focused and organized. Candidates must be highly dependable with a "can do" attitude. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present complex issues and analyses in an effective manner, and have a passion for games.
Pluses:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge level of installing and maintaining Linux
- Knowledge in Cisco Hardware and IOS
- Familiarity with SQL Database
- Knowledge and interest in scripting and programming languages (i.e. Perl, Visual Basic)
