Cinematic Modeler

The cinematic modeler's primary focus will be modeling and texturing high-resolution 3D models, including characters, backgrounds, sets, and environmental elements used in our cinematic sequences.

Qualities we look for: We are looking for candidates who are eager and excited to work at Blizzard. Candidates must be able to model and texture a diverse visual range of characters, creatures, and environments in high resolutions. It is essential that candidates have a thorough understanding and outstanding eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating texture maps. We are looking for people who have the ability to fine-tune work at the pixel level and be able to work well in a team environment. Cinematic modelers must be well-versed in related tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, Mudbox, ZBrush, Photoshop, etc.

How to get in: Excellent 3D modeling and texturing skills and the ability to model high-resolution objects in 3D software such as 3DS Max, Maya, Mudbox, or ZBrush are necessary. We are primarily looking for great character and environment work in your portfolio, and a demo reel that demonstrates an exceptional understanding of proportions and a keen eye towards form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regards to modeling.
