Producer, Web Software Engineering

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and enthusiastic producer to join our web and mobile team in Irvine, California. The web and mobile team handles all aspects of the Blizzard Entertainment web presence, from flashy product marketing web sites to mission critical account-related applications and everything in between. This production position will interface closely with our web software engineering group, and we are looking for individuals capable of understanding technical issues and working fluidly with technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with different departments to facilitate communication.
• Work with department leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion.
• Help define and enact production processes across the group to increase team efficiency, structure, and organization.
• Coordinate, track, and manage the activities of taskable personnel to ensure that project tasks are completed on time.
• Provide motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
• Supply updates to executive team on progress.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

• Strong understanding of software development processes, project management, and performance management
• Ability to communicate effectively with programming, art, design, and business personnel
• Experience managing teams and delivering products on time
• Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to facilitate and mediate between multiple teams
• Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
