Associate Software Engineer, Mobile

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an associate software engineer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate would possess a strong passion for programming. Requirements:

• Strong programming skills:
  • C++ and/or Java
  • Able to write tight, optimized code
  • Able to quickly learn new programming languages and APIs
• Enjoys solving challenging programming problems
• Flexible, able to work on more than one thing at once and to change focus when needed
• Able to multi-task between multiple simultaneous projects
• Comfortable working independently
• Passionate about gaming and/or Blizzard

Pluses:

• Relevant work experience in the mobile space
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
  • Server/networking programming
  • Windows GUI development
  • Web development
  • UNIX
• Able tospeak a foreign language
