Organizational Development and Training Coordinator
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an organizational development and training coordinator to work in our human resources department. The ideal candidate has strong administrative experience in an office environment and a willingness to be flexible with miscellaneous tasks that may be assigned at the last minute. This position will report to the global manager of organizational development and training.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate training and development activities for Blizzard Entertainment employees, including, but not limited to:
- Collate employee information from managers and other sources and prepare attendee lists and attendance sheets for training sessions.
- Send and track training invitations via Microsoft Outlook and Blizzard Entertainment's internal scheduling tool for all training and development functions.
- Coordinate all logistics for training and development functions (including external trainers, guest speakers, employee lecturers, onsite or offsite meeting space, banquet/catering orders, invoicing, contracts, etc.).
- Create and deliver all training materials to training venues as needed.
- Track individual training for employees through performance management and/or learning management systems.
- Track newly hired and newly promoted managers to ensure necessary training is delivered in a timely fashion.
- Provide support and assistance to the organizational development and training staff with various organizational development projects as they arise.
- Manage Blizzard Entertainment's internal leadership and development lending library, including inventory and check-out/check-in process.
- Oversee training evaluations (including design, collection, and reporting).
- Maintain budget-tracking spreadsheets.
- Handle mail and Federal Express.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in an administrative assistant or coordinator position, preferably in a human resources, organizational development, or training department
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent prioritization and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality
- Ability to work unsupervised and seek out work independently of assignments
- Talent for diplomatic, unbiased communication, both written and oral
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint
Pluses
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Stand-up training experience
- Working knowledge of organization development methodologies and philosophies
- Familiarity with performance management and learning management systems
- Passion for gaming
