Cinematic Technical Artist/Rigger
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a character rigger to join its cinematics department. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, intelligent artist who has built complex rigs in Maya and has experience using scripts to solve technical problems. The candidate must also be attuned to the needs of a production pipeline and those of the animators.

Requirements
- 3+ years experience rigging characters in Maya for feature animation
- Strong knowledge of character kinematics, deformation, and dynamics
- Knowledge of cutting-edge character pipeline and workflow techniques
- Extensive experience in MEL, C/C++, or other programming languages
- High proficiency in technical problem solving
- Demo reel on CD, DVD, or online (preferred) showing rigging and technical proficiency
Pluses
- A passion for games and film
- Python programming experience
- Maya API experience
- Strong technical knowledge of 3ds Max or other high-end software
- Leadership and management experience
