What is the event realm?
The event realm is a special realm used to allow players to participate in content at special events.

Are event realms always available to play on?
Generally, event realms are only available for a set period of time during events.

How long are the event realms available after they open?
The amount of time the event realms are open varies with the length of the event.

Who can play on the event realm?
Attendees of BlizzCon are able to play at the event site.

How many times may I copy my characters to the event realms?
Players can copy up to four level 70 characters to the event realm.

Will the progress my character makes on the event realms show up on the public realms?
No. What happens on the event realm stays on the event realm. Any changes to your character on the event realm cannot be transferred to the public realms.

Is my character on the event realms permanent?
No. Characters and all associated items are subject to wipes at any point during the event, and all characters will be wiped on completion of the event.

Can I create a new character on the event realms?
No. We will not be allowing new character creation on the event realms. Players will be able to copy a level 70 character or play one of the pre-made characters at the event.

Is the version of the game on the event realms the same as the one that is currently running on the public realms?
No. The event realm is running a version of the game containing new content that is unavailable on the live realms.

I can't log in with the characters I transferred. Am I doing something wrong?
You may not be able to log in to the event realm if you have changed your password in the last three weeks. You can try to use an old password, but this is not guaranteed to work. Also, please note that accounts active for less than seven weeks are ineligible for event-realm access.
