User Interface Programmers

User Interface programmers work closely with designers to create new user interface elements for Blizzard games. This process involves the complete pipeline from working with designers to interface layout in XML and Lua script implementation.

Qualities we look for: Blizzard Entertainment are looking for candidates who are organized, self-disciplined, and hard-working. Additionally, they must also have excellent written and oral communication skills, excel in a team environment, and have a strong desire to learn and improve their craft. Interested UI programmers should be familiar with the stylistic themes of Blizzard's universes and possess the ability to develop new and compelling UI features that match them. We want programmers who are comfortable working with HTML or XML and who have knowledge of procedural or object-oriented programming, strong understanding of Lua scripting language, worked in developing UI modifications, and strong graphic art skills.

How to get in: We recommend that you create and develop your own UI modifications on any of our games, specifically for World of Warcraft.
