University Relations

Community

Assistant community managers and forum moderators serve as a conduit between the development team and the players, relaying feedback to the developers and the rest of the company and keeping players informed about current plans, policies, and updates related to Blizzard games.

Qualities we look for: We are seeking organized, sociable, and energetic candidates with strong written and spoken communication skills who have a passion for gaming. The ideal candidate would be an avid RTS, RPG, or massively multiplayer online gamer. Candidates must have a passion for providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment. Also, this person should be highly motivated, thorough, and detail-oriented. We are also looking for candidates who are fluent in a foreign language and have strong organizational and project management skills for our international liaisons.

How to get in: Here's what you can do to make yourself stand out:

  • Consider being an active part of community forums. Go to a fansite of any game that you are passionate about and start moderating the forms there.
  • The community team wants to see writing samples. A good way to get started is to contribute to gaming websites as a freelance writer.
