Associate Producer, Billing (Online Technologies)
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and enthusiastic associate producer to join our online technologies team, which oversees the Battle.net online gaming platform as well as billing tools for World of Warcraft. The associate producer will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and managing activities of software developers working on billing- and Battle.net-related projects to ensure that they are completed on time. Enthusiasm and flexibility in working on a variety of projects are necessary.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate, track, and manage the activities of task-able personnel to ensure that project tasks are completed on time.
- Work with department leads and production to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion.
- Provide motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
- Liaise between the game development teams, Battle.net engineers, Billing engineers, and support departments.
- Document design requirements, features, and status updates.
- Translate business requests into technical requirements.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
- Assist the producer with organizational tasks as necessary.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience managing resources and schedules
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional follow-up skills
- Experience delivering products on time
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel
- Understanding of structured development methodologies
Plusses:
- Familiarity with finance and accounting terminology
- Familiarity with change control procedures
- Past experience working with financial software systems
- Fluency in Korean
