IT Strategic Planner
Blizzard Entertainment has an opening for an experienced IT strategic planner. The ideal applicant will have experience in competitive analysis and negotiation of contracts within an IT related field. Ideally, the candidate will have familiarity with AC and DC power configurations and IT co-location services.
Responsibilities
- Perform strategic technical research and analysis to support current and future business initiatives.
- Create proactive business plans to meet dynamic industry movements.
- Negotiate new and existing contracts.
- Audit and review recurring monthly invoices for co-location and IT services.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of business analysis experience within a technology-based company
- 3-5 years experience negotiating agreements in an IT-related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Analytical thinking skills, detail orientation, and ability to innovate
- Familiarity with co-location service providers
- Familiarity with content delivery systems
Plusses
- Experience leading industry peers in establishing standards and best practices
- International business experience
