Junior Simulation Technical Artist, Cinematics
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an entry-level simulation technical artist. This person would be tasked with running procedural animation simulations, caching animation, and putting together final shot assets. An ideal candidate would pay close attention to details, be technically minded, and have the ability to spot problems. We're seeking a highly motivated artist who knows 3ds Max and/or Maya and has experience solving technical problems.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of 3ds Max, Maya, or other high-end 3D software (Maya preferred)
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills
Plusses
- Experience in Python, MEL, MaxScript, C/C++, C#, or other programming languages
- Strong knowledge of dynamic effects, cloth simulations, particle systems, and similar techniques
- A passion for games and film
