Senior Producer, Creative Development

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a highly organized individual with outstanding communication skills and proven experience in project management to help maintain and improve the efficiency and focus of Blizzard Entertainment's creative development department. We're looking for individuals who have a proven track record of shipping AAA products in a senior or lead producer role.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a leading, visionary, and positive force within creative development.
  • Work with team leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to facilitate communication.
  • Work with producers to ensure organization, transparency, and progress within the department�s projects.
  • Provide motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Lead and mentor the department's producers.
  • Supply departmental updates and information to the executive team.
  • Find and address issues before they become problems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a senior/lead producer
  • Experience managing and mentoring a staff of producers
  • Proven experience managing schedules and employees to deliver high-quality products on time
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate and mediate between members of the creative development, executive, development, marketing, and public relations teams
  • Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative
  • A passion for games, books, comics, art, figures, etc.
  • Deep knowledge and creativity in the areas of development process, project management, and performance management

Pluses:

  • Experience in creating or producing art - illustration, graphic design, etc.
  • Experience in creating or producing games - computer or hobby
  • Experience in writing or publishing
  • Experience in asset management (art, lore, audio/visuals)
  • Proficient knowledge of all of Blizzard Entertainment's intellectual properties
